Noraniza Idris (born Nor Aniza Binti Idris on Kampung Melayu, Kluang, Johor, Malaysia), originally a wedding singer, is the queen of pop traditional music in Malaysia (known as irama malaysia). Her first taste of fame came hot on the heels of her participation in a 1985 talent contest, the Bintang RTM.
