The Nooses first kicked off in March 2011. Several of the members had already been playing in a band at their music school. The 2008 line-up is the current one. The guys and gals in the band start to get it together and decide to find a definite band name and work on new songs, doing it with one simple aspect in mind: share the fun through music. They take from Brit indie pop and are strongly influenced by The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club and Florence and The Machine.
