Noel Hunwick was born on Christmas Day 1981 and was a member of Blackburn Cathedral Choir from the age of six years. He proved himself to be a talented singer and acheived the Bishop's Award for choristers when was only nine. In his later years he was principle solo treble in the choir. In 1996 he became Head Chorister, gained the RSCM St. Nicholas Award and was chosen by the BBC to appear with Patricia Routledge in the 'Lost Chords,' an episode in the second series of 'Hetty Wainthropp Investigates.'
