Nickelz & Dimez was formed during the summer of 2007, when an idea was proposed by Andrew Prahlow and Ross Carter to release two songs on the internet under the name Nickelz & Dimez. After generating somewhat of a buzz among friends, Nickelz & Dimez released songs periodically throughout 2007, recording through file sending over the internet.
