Nebron is a Hungarian metal band formed in 1996 by guitarist István Vass and vocalist Balázs Lévai. Prior to this, the founding members played in a black/death metal band called Purgatorium. After adopting the name Nebron, the band began writing new material and performing in Hungary. In October 1997, they entered the studio to record their first and only demo, The Message, with Győző Körtvélyessy on drums and Ferenc Papp on bass.
