The band includes the Polish frontsinger and pianiste Edita Karkoschka, the Austrian drummer Daniel Karelly, the Dutch guitarist Tim Coehoorn and their newest member, German bassplayer Marius Mathiszik. The bandname Nausica and one of the first songs called “Toxic raindrops” is in homage to the Japanese anime film “Nausicaa – the valley of the wind” produced by the Ghibli Studios.
