My Name Is John consisted of members Aaron "Az" Holesgrove (vocals/bass), Chris Reed (guitar/backing vocals) and Andrew "Peg" Duker (drums/ backing vocals). They incorporated a modern punk and ska influenced sound with outrageous and most commonly sexually charged lyrics which undertoned the band's comedy approach.
