Mishra is a British world folk group formed in Sheffield in 2018 by Kate Griffin (vocals, banjo, dobro) and Ford Collier (low whistle, calabash/percussion, guitar). Griffin and Collier are sometimes joined by John Ball (Rafiki Jazz) on tabla and santoor, Alex Lyon on vocals and clarinet, and Joss Mann-Hazell on double bass. In 2018 Mishra won Cambridge Folk Festival’s first ever Christian Raphael prize, the prize money from which they used to record their 2019 debut album "The Loft Tapes". Their second album, "Reclaim", was released in 2021.
