Mirel J. was born in Galati, Romania in 1977. He has been fascinated by music since early childhood. His first attempts as a DJ were back in 1999, when he was asked to replace a sick friend, who was residing at the club during that time. Mirel became immediately addicted to playing the crowd and went looking out for more. His efforts resulted in his first residency at 'The Hole Club' in 2001.
