Mindhead is a Seattle band composed of Joe Day (songwriter/singer), Seth Fikkert (drummer), Jono Orange (guitars/noises), and Jeff Morrow (bass/noises). Mindhead formed in December 1999 when Joe Day was booked to play a solo show. Not a fan of playing solo, he tapped friends Fikkert and Morrow and Micah Kelley to play with him. Over the course of 3 weeks they assembled a set of songs that Joe Day had written over a 6 month duration after disbanding his previous band Static.
