There are at least two musicians with this name:
1. Michael Dempsey (born 29 November 1958) is a bassist from England, member of Malice and Easy Cure and thus foundingmember of The Cure, and later a member of Cult Hero, The Associates and The Lotus Eaters, Presence, Levinhurst among other bands. He was also briefly the touring bassist for Roxy Music.
2. Michael is a college student now who makes music as a hobby. He classifies himself as acoustic/alternative
