"Escape" is the sixth track off of Metallica's second studio album, Ride the Lightning. The song is notorious for being one of the band's most hated songs, because the record company had forced them to write something more radio friendly. Metallica refused to ever play it live, until 2012 at Orion Music Festival, when they were playing the album in its entirety.
