Melotron is a synthpop/futurepop band from Germany. The founding members are Andy Krüger (vocals/composition), Edgar Slatnow (synthesizer/lyrics), and Kay Hildebrandt (synthesizer/production). The band initially called themselves The Vermin, however, as their lyrics were exclusively in German, they decided to change their name to Melotron for their debut album. In terms of production, Melotron focuses on longevity.
