Mathew Bethancourt (born on July 3, 1971) is an English musician, record producer and graphic designer. During the 1990s, Bethancourt was a member of various UK underground bands, most notably The Beginning. Bethancourt is best known for his proto metal group Josiah (formed in 2000) who went on to release four highly acclaimed albums. In 2003 he became a founding member of heavy stoner group The Kings Of Frog Island releasing three albums before quitting the band in 2010.
