Masimba is the band led by Boniface Thande made up of members of the Bakawola Foundation. Boniface has been performing in Nairobi, Mombasa and other towns in Kenya for over 20 years. He was born in Nakuru and moved to Nairobi when he was young. He started performing in Church when he was only 7 years old. These days he can be found writing songs and practicing at the Kenya National Theatre and performing in pubs around Nairobi during the evening.
