Making Time is a solo project created by Jacob van Loon. The name 'Making Time' is a tribute to The Creation. The music is influenced by other various garage rock/punk, powerpop, and proto punk artists including (but not limited to) Swell Maps, The Action, The Kinks, Jonathan Richman, The Dead Boys, The Mummies, The Spits, etc. Jacob is the only current member, and currently lives in DeKalb, Illinois. He recorded three songs in the summer of 2008 in the WNUR studio at Northwestern University. The songs were released online in January of 2009. www.myspace.com/makingtimes
