"MUCC also know as MUKKU are a J-rock band formed in '97. The band's name was originally by Miya, was the name of a character on a popular japanese children's show Ponkickies. The band is also known as 69 since six-nine is pronounced "muku" in japanese. In '97 the band was formed in Ibaraki and went by the name MUCC (not MUKKU). The original line up was TATTOO (Tatsuro) as vocals, Miya on guitar, HIRO on bass, and Satochi on drums. In '98 two demo tapes were distributed "NO?!", and "Tsubasa wo Kudasai".
