múm (pronounced "moom," with the band's name generally written in all lowercase) is an experimental Icelandic musical group whose music offers a delicate mixture of glitch electronica, chamber instruments (accordion, trumpet, bells, clarinet, violin, piano) and atmospheric vocals. The band formed in 1997. Its original members were Gunnar Örn Tynes, Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason, and twin sisters Gyða and Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir.
