At the age of eight, the family emigrated from native Trieste to Spain where he started taking piano lessons and solfège. Luke's musical career started a few years later, playing session guitar for legendary 90's band Modestia Aparte, whilst studying composition & jazz harmony under renown sax player Pedro Iturralde.
