Lovecrumbs formed in Charlottesville, VA in 2008. The original lineup consisted of Ethan (songwriting, guitar, drum programming), Steve (vocals and synthesizer) and Michelle (bass). After formation, Philip of Your Spirit Animal in the Unreal City (guitar and back-up vocals) joined the line-up. On April 24 2009, Nailgun Media named Lovecrumbs "the worst band in Charlottesville".
