Lolacoaster started out as a music project created by two music aficionados, with the goal of making music that would provide a unique atmosphere for the listener. The initial idea was to center around an imaginary fictional character named Lola, a film noir-esque femme fatale character devoted to liquor, a life of crime and her lovers. The concept ended up taking a different turn as the project evolved, but Lola still lingers as the spirit behind the music.
