Lee began learning to play guitar and write his own songs at the age of 16. He spent the next couple of years concentrating on making and perfecting new and old material before forming Rock/Metal band Dilate in march 2005. Singing lead vocals and playing guitar, Lee was accompanied by old school friend Jamie Masterson on bass and Nathan Prince, his friend and workmate, on drums.
