Kristina Westin was born in the beautiful city of Östersund, Sweden. She moved to Stockholm after graduating from musical studies and then she continued with one year of musical theory at the University of Stockholm. After the first Stockholm session she moved to Eskilstuna to become an exhibition designer. There she made friends with some musicians and started to sing in a band called "The Valets" who later on got a lot of attention during Popstad 98.
