Kokusai Bunka Shinkokai (International Cultural Relations Society) In 1942 a set of sixty 78rpm discs documenting the most authentic traditions in Japanese music was privately issued by the (Japanese) cultural organisation Kokusai Bunka Shinko-kai (KBS). The archived documents, recordings, and movies of the KBS are now in the care of the Japan Foundation.
