New York, USA (2009 – present) Kitty Fishinger is a blues/pop cover band composed of screen writer, Shira Zimbeck on vocals and music producer Steve Hansen, on guitar. Their first cover, Life is but a Dream, (originally Sh-Boom by The Crew Cuts), was recorded for an Adult Swim Pilot. Requests for more music for film and telelvision followed and the band was born. They recently recorded Tom Wait's Whistlin' Past the Graveyard for the film Late Lunch.
