Biography
Mr. Khabir Moraes, born in Vasco-da-Gama (GOA, INDIA) and bought up in Cuncolim (GOA). Studied in Infant Jesus High School Cuncolim, passed his XIIth Science in Damodars (Margao) Goa. Had a passion for Music & Cinematography from a very young age, he is motivated by his uncle Mr. Richard Sedlackzek (Sedlackzek Video Vision) pioneer of GOA cinematography. A Grandson of Mr. Walter Sedlackzek (Austrian Nationality). Khabir has inherited his Grandfather's skills with the Camera.
Son of Mr. Khazangi Moraes and Mrs. Adolfina Sedlackzek from Bencleavado Cuncolim, happily married to Mrs. Mina Fernandes. He is accompanied by his very close friend who is his brother Mr. Rajiv Moraes . Always loved his village and hence he shot his debut documentary on Cuncolim in Dec 2007. It was telecasted on MCN Channel. He opt into film industry with partnership with GOESCOIN PRODUCTION www.goes.co.in and made his debut cinematography for a movie 'VENGEANCE" (Short Film by Milroy Goes, contestant on SONY PIX Short Film Festival.), Cinematographer for “CROSSROADS” film by Allan Fernandes. Editing supervisor for “UNEXPECTED” short film by Milroy Goes, screened at International Film Festival of India Goa 2009). He also excels in still photography, Potraits, Landscapes, Arial, Nature, some of his masterpiece was published on Magazines. Released his debut new age Konkani music album “VISORCHONA” on 10th December 2009. He worked on the music and lyrics 5 years before releasing. Music arranged by GOA’s best musician Allan Fernandes. And to add another feather for the cap, he is a Chef by profession working on a Cruise Liner based in Italy, Monaco.
