Kevin Dempsey (born in Coventry) is a British guitarist, songwriter, producer and arranger. He was co-founder of early 1970s progressive folk act Dando Shaft. He currently records as Rosie Carson & Kevin Dempsey and as Dempsey Broughton. Co-founder of early 1970s progressive folk act Dando Shaft, Dempsey subsequently went on to perform with a variety of acts including, notably, Whippersnapper and Swarb's Lazarus (both with Dave Swarbrick, and Uiscedwr (from 2005-2007).
