rock band formed on May 16, 1990, in Eskilstuna under the original name Coca-Cola Kids, followed by
Jones & Giftet and later
Havsänglar. Kent is often referred to as "Sweden's biggest rock band". The founding members were
Joakim Berg (vocals/guitar), Martin Sköld (bass), Markus Mustonen (drums/backing vocals), Sami Sirviö (lead guitar), and Thomas Bergqvist (keyboards).
