Kensington Hillbillys are an insurgent country band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada formed in the late 90's. After nearly a decade the core members Steve Ketchen and Mike MacCallum still lead the KHBs through raucous live sets with equal parts solid musicianship and reckless abandon. The bands third and newest album, 'Tecumseh' is an experiment in outside concept country examining bad times of all description wrapped up in optigans, mellotrons, guitars aplenty, samples, the familiar sound of AM radio and the unfamiliar sound of Canadian country music outcasts.
