Wakakusa Kei (若草恵), born 1949.02.10 in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese composer and arranger. His real name is Saitô Tôru (斉藤徹). During his time in Japanese Middle and High School, he engaged in various music activities, such as playing in a brass band. After studying classical music under his teacher Hayashi Meiko, Wakakusa studied Jazz music at the Yamaha Sound Foundation under guidance of Watanabe Sadao.
