Kamaal Khan was born in Highgate, North London on 12th March 1972. He has two brothers and two sisters and spent most of his early years living in Finchley, North London. He developed an interest in music from a very early age and had amassed a collection of over 200 Hindi film soundtracks by the age of 12. Music Kamaal was initially quite hesitant to enter the music industry but after much persuasion by his elder brother Jamal, Kamaal finally agreed to take up a career in music.
