Julo, real name Julia Olk, is born in Karatau (Kazakhstan) in a musician family. As the daughter of pianist and piano maker Mark Wischnewski and the niece of opera singer Klara Wischnewski, she started her musical life with classical piano lessons. However, she realised very early that her talent was in her voice. She was therefore tought singing lessons and became part, as a singer, of different bands playing different kinds of music.
