Born to Lorraine Thomas & John Pickens Sr. in Honolulu, HI on the 22nd day of October in 1985. Grew up in Little Rock during the "gang bang" era where the city had the highest death rate by homicide for much of that decade. Learned to love music as an alternative to becoming a part of a gang and was inspired by soul records from the 70s and 80s that my parents played in the house.
