Joint was founded in November 1969 in Zurich, Switzerland by Italian-born Giovanni "Giovi" Russo. The members were strictly amateurs and played music only in their spare time, rehearsing in a cellar three nights each week. Their one and only single was released in mid-February 1971 and included the songs Collage (a wonderful cover of the James Gang song of the same name) and Remember.
