Jimmy Boyd not wanting to do Miller's novelty songs anymore persuaded A&R Don Law to let he and Joe Maphis do an impromtu head session (Jam session) without Millers knowledge.. This track along with Rocking Down the Mississippi were the result. Because of Millers strong resentment of rock and roll, and Rockabilly it never got promoted.
