Jeremy Shine is born in Surinam. He grew up on the Island Saint Martin (Netherlands Antilles) where his first love for Reggae and Soca music started. In 1999 he moved to the Netherlands and then began to experiment with Surinam music. Later on he formed a band with some friends but after 4 years of hard work with this band the group fell apart.
