Jason began playing the guitar in 1992, and in addition to beginning what was to later become Ol Sonuf in 1997, he is also a founding member of the band Todesbonden along with his wife and bandmate Laurie Ann Haus, and is featured on both their demo EP "Stormbringer" as well as their debut LP "Sleep Now, Quiet Forest," released through Prophecy Productions in 2008.
