The "J.J. Muggler Band" started in Harahan, Louisiana just outside of New Orleans in the Early 70's starting with the drummer Jude Lirette and bassist Calvin Huber. The band started playing originals and old blues tunes. Jamming at House Parties, Bars and Juke Joints. They were guys from the other side of the tracks, getting into their share of trouble in the early years. Guitar players and singers would come and go, but Calvin and Jude would always be there.
