John Ferguson aka J. Slick. Born in NJ in 1950. Came to RI in late 60's. Singing since early childhood. Gigging since '66, fulltime since '91. Sings rock, jazz, country, gospel, but first love is blues and soul music. Past credits include some very successful area bands (The Ovation, Back Issue, Funk Munks) as well as many "opening" slots at the "Tent"(Warwick Musical Theater).
