Innersoul released this track as a respect and love for the Tribe Called Quest, and many other groups that were blending jazz tracks into there beats. we always hear how jazz music came from the blacks in the 20's 30's w/ juke joints and dive bars and the dances that they were doing, just like Hip Hop, it came from the inner cities and it had it's dances to so, " What is it", was a perfect question is it Jazz or was it ultimately what we now know as Hip Hop in a simpler form.
