IMPLODED is actually a duet of Nikita «Tjalvi» Valamin (vocals, keyboards, sound engineering) and Sergey «GM» Valerianov (guitars), helped by fellow musicians. The band was born in St. Petersburg in spring 2007, when songwriter, singer and keyboard player Nikita «Tjalvi» Valamin, searching for a new guitarist for his power-metal band ICEBLADE, met Sergey «GM» Valerianov. GM turned out to be a songwriter as well, so in a few months ICEBLADE was no more, and Tjalvi and GM started a new band, playing progressive rock or something like that.
