With inspiration derived from Washington D.C. punk bands like Fugazi, Jawbox, Embrace and San Diego hardcore/punk bands like Drive Like Jehu and Amenity, i*w*i wrote songs that came from their young innocent hearts. With a loyal and growing fan base, the band began sharing stages with headlining acts such as Blink-182, Korn, P.O.D, and Sprung Monkey.
