"Abducted" is the fourth studio album by the Swedish band Hypocrisy. It marks a point in the group's career where their musical style began to shift, incorporating melodic death metal elements into their earlier death metal sound. The album was also issued as a limited edition digipak, which is distinct from the later non-limited edition digipak re-release. The samples used in the intro track "The Gathering" are taken from the so-called Halt Tape, which is claimed to be an audio recording made during the Rendlesham Forest incident on December 26, 1980.
