Biography
Hank Shizzoe (real name Thomas Erb) is a Swiss song-writer whose range of music goes from Blues over Country to Hard Rock. Originally from the Eastern part of Switzerland, Hank works and lives in Bern where he sells guitars.
The Directors are Hank's longest stage pals, although each one of them is also heavily involved in other music projects.
Ironically, Hank is best known in the USA due to his concert tours in the South whereas he goes largely unnoticed in Switzerland. To increase the mystery around him, he leaves it open on his website wether he's truly Swiss or from Hawaii.

Hank Shizzoe is a guitar player, singer, songwriter, producer and part time actor. Rolling Stone magazine sez: "Those who care about these things have been knowing for a long time that Hank Shizzoe is the best roots-rock songwriter and guitar player who's not hailing from the US. And he would still be one of the best even if he came from the Promised Land." Since 1994 Hank Shizzoe has released twelve albums and played more than a thousand concerts between Los Angeles, Budapest, Bergen and Barcelona.
In The Studio
Hank is currently working on his next studio album. It features Stephan Eicher (who also produces), Simon Baumann and Reyn Ouwehand. Release is scheduled for April 2014. A handful of shows will be played in April/May 2014, to be followed by an extensive tour starting October 2014.
Stephan Eicher 2012/2013
In 2011 Hank Shizzoe joined Stephan Eicher's band. Mr. Eicher released his new album "L'Envolée" on October 22nd 2012. An extensive tour concluded in December 2013.
Box Set: Update January 2014
In the near future CrossCut Records will release a limited edition box set entitled "Roundabout". Contents: A brand new "blues" album (1 CD), all previously unreleased outtakes, demos and live recordings 1990-2002 (1 CD), concert footage feat. Sonny Landreth, recorded 2002 (1 DVD) and a 100-page booklet. In the meantime check out the latest live album.

Stay put. Last yearHank produced and played on a new album by his friend Markus Maria Enggist. The actor writes wonderful songs and sings them in the dialect spoken in Vienna, Austria. Not to be missed. Order here.
