Hát Või Quê Húóng
45 listeners
Hát Või Quê Húóng was a one-off project consisting of two members of Palais Schaumburg, Holger Hiller (production), Ralf Hertwig (drums), with three Vietnamese vocalists, Vu Thi Khieu, Vu Thi Thu Phuong and Vu Thi Thu Ha. One twelve inch single was released on the Zickzack label in 1982. At the time Vietnamese refugees were arriving by ship at the German port of Hamburg, where the studio was located in which the record was mixed and produced. Three of them were asked to contribute to the tracks, singing Vietnamese songs. The B-Side is spoken and placed in a dub-heavy landscape, created while mixing.
