Gryzor87 made his debut as a game composer with his score for freeware PC title Hydorah. An homage to the sidescrolling shooter, or shmup genre, the game was developed independently in Andalucia, Spain over the course of three years. Upon release, Hydorah was made available for free download together with the full soundtrack in mp3 format. The soundtrack to Hydorah was inspired by the musician's memories of Konami MSX games which he frequently played between the ages of 12 and 16.
