Their repertory ranges widely from the Renaissance to the present day, but with particular emphasis on music by contemporary Georgian composers, for whom the choir frequently provides an indispensable sounding board; among them Yosif Ketchakhmadze and Otar Taktakishvili, whose works are seldom heard in Western concert halls.
