GYBE’s ‘Moya’ is the first track of the EP Slow Riot for New Zerø Kanada. The title of the song may refer to the band’s guitarist Mike Moya. He contributed to the song, but left the group in 1998, before the EP was released. Although he left the group, his vocals can be heard on the group’s 2000 release, Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven. The song is sometimes referred to as “Gorecki” because it is a reworking of Polish composer’s Henryk Górecki Symphony No. 3, Op. 36 (aka “Symphony of Sorrowful Songs). View wiki
