Started in 1997, God The Band (or GTB) was a unique band in the independent rock music scene of NYC. Wearing ruffled tuxedo shirts with black bowties, their shows were often theatrical spectacles that was far from a passive musical experience. In the fall of 2002, after going on a 3 month tour to support the release of their album "RAWK!", the group quietly disbanded as each member took time to pursue their own projects, musically and otherwise.
