Here he grew up on a musical diet of 70s rock (Eagles, ELO, Fleetwood Mac, Seals & Crofts), Ghanaian high-life and South African mbaqanga. Returning to Brisbane for high school and university studies, he discovered many new genres, including pub rock, and was introduced to live music.
